I had only stepped onto my local permission for a few seconds when this came up on my first hole, what a bucket lister. It wasn't deep and popped out with my first scoop of soil. I new it was Saxon by its similar style to a sceatta that I had found previously. Dr martin Allen at the Fitzwilliam museum in Cambridge has recorded it under ref. 2026.0288 and I will record it on the PAS database soon.
