The Gold Hand

My FLO Eleanore Cox has not yet finished her final report, she has shown it to Kevin Leahy ( a British archaeologist and small finds specialist. He is the National Finds Adviser for early-medieval metalwork) and their initial views are that it is early Anglo-Saxon of a high carat gold, she did however tell me that they were unsure of the ring and dot pattern on the palm as they have not seen a comparison of that style so they are going to take it to the British Museum for another opinion and also have it XRF scanned, she also believes it may well have originated in a different country. I will keep you updated as soon as I find out any more information. P.S. She called it "The Hand Of God" Found on 05/09/2026 In Hampshire NARC-02EB-0267
