17th/18th Century Pocket Sun Dial

Post-medieval copper-alloy portable ring sundial, or “poke dial”, probably dating from the 17th–18th century. Substantially complete, retaining its suspension loop and pinhole-bearing gnomon. The external month initials and calendar graduations remain largely visible, together with part of the internal hour scale, including the numeral 12. Reported to the Lincolnshire Finds Liaison Officer and awaiting examination and PAS recording.
