Find Title:
Tudor gold ring
Please add a description of your find, add as much detail as possible. Also include the PAS reference number where possible, if it has been added to the database.:
Gold ring, possible Tudor, with diamond like stone in situ but loose. Swirl, scroll design on shoulders and four sides around the stone with four crescent depressions. Some wear to the four sides surrounding the stone has resulted in the stone being loose. The ring has a good shape with minimal deformity. No markings on inside. Weight with stone approximately 5.7g. Laura Beckworth, FLO for Somerset, has been notified and I am awaiting an appointment for delivery to her. No PAS reference number yet as I cannot enter it on to the PAS database. Ring found approximately 5" deep in ploughed field near Taunton.
